3 engineers Blake, Richard and Neil attended Worcester Bosch boiler fault finding course today. All our team believes in continuous improvement and we all put training at the top. They worked on fault codes, boiler fan issues, complete boiler strip down including main heat exchanger, Pump failure, the importance about power flushing, inhibitors and central heating cleaners (Sentinel and Adey) as well as gas valves and PCB faults. The CDI compact combination boiler is solar compatible too.
Worcester Bosch 28 kw, 32 kw and 36 kw CDI Compact boilers have the latest designed heat exchanger. It is the only boiler in its range also condenses in both hot water mode and heating mode. By adding a Worcester Wave mobile app boiler control you can take the boiler from A rated to A+. Unlike the current Hive, Nest, Honeywell lyric and Honeywell Home or Evohome the Worcester Wave uses load compensation and weather compensation to help reduce gas, lpg or oil consumption. We offer this boiler with a 10 year guarantee and a Worcester Magnetic filter.

CONDENSE FROZEN OR BLOCKED??
My boiler is producing a 'gurgling' sound what could be the cause?
This gurgling sound may be caused by a blocked condensate pipe, or even a frozen condense pipe. please contact us we can help you resolve this issue.
We even cover this on our Priority Hub Care Emergency Boiler Breakdown Cover.
Condense Pipe What is it?
Along with heat, when gas or oil is burned within your boiler condensation is also created. This can be seen in the gases which plume (Steam)out from the boiler, something that is especially noticeable in cold weather. However in addition to this condensate being discharged in the air, condensate also collects inside the boiler and is drained away either inside or outside your home. This is safe and nothing to worry about.
However if your condensate pipe has not been terminated according to our installation guidelines, there is a chance it could freeze in severe weather conditions. Please contact us at The Central Heating Hub or see our video above.
FAQs
What can cause an oil boilers burner to lockout?
A burner lockout could be as a result of no oil or a leak in the pipeline. Another cause of burner lockout is from contaminated oil. This contamination could be from:- Water ingress into the tank from a missing cover, a damaged tank from condensation, sludge, which can occur due to the growth of micro-organisms at the water fuel interface in the tank or rust from a metal oil tank corroding.
Central Heating Hub is OFTEC registered and we will be able to assist you with cleaning your tank and flushing through the oil lines.
